Poseidon Flexisuit
Buying one of the new Poseidon suits was a real leap of faith for me. I have always used suits with built in boots made from the toughest material I could afford. In spite of this I have destroyed many suits within a couple of seasons.
The reason for my concern was how lightweight the suit was, particularly compared to the Unisuit I once owned. The suit has proved extremely durable in the 2 seasons I have used it, all it has needed is a thorough wash down to restore it to its original pristine condition.
This is also the first suit with rock boots that I have owned. These have been a really pleasant surprise, the real bonus being that I can turn the suit completely inside out to wash and dry.

I like suits that are self donning, this suit is very easy in that respect although a certain amount of technique is required to get enough material ready to pull over my head.
The neck seals are made from a material that can be used flat or folded inside out.
My only criticism although minor concerns the laces on the boots. They are forever coming undone and I have resorted to tying the laces in a knot.
Velcro would be a better alternative.
Overall: A great suit that I would recommend.

Scubapro Twin Jet Fins
After using these fins for 10 years now, I can state that they are completely indestructible.
They are extremely comfortable and I never get cramp in my calf muscles.
If you ever need to walk around on the seabed/shore/boat or get your feet planted to push or pull something they are also very good.
You never feel as though you get a lot of traction/propulsion in the water.
The only issue I have ever had is when I inadvertently knelt on a wreck with out noticing that the hole in the centre of one fin had slotted over an upright post. the consequence was I had to remove the fin, then being unable to stretch down enough to get it back on I had to swim one finned to the anchor line and get my buddy to put it back on for me.
Overall: Not brilliant for swimming but great for walking.
