Goody Bags
Don't waste money on expensive goody bags.
Ask at your local greengrocer for some onion sacks (if Tesco hasn't made them go bust).
Alternatively stores like this sell them.

When you have mastered it you can change them on site and you can become a hero by changing other peoples too.

Dry Suit Socks
Don't spend silly money on purpose made undersuit socks, go to a shop like TK Maxx or a outdoor shop and buy ski socks that contain Merino Wool. Not only are they a fraction of the price, they are more comfortable, stay warm when wet and are longer (knee length).
Best Gloves
Neoprene gloves don't last and they are expensive.We find that the best gloves are those used in factories and on building sites. Many use kevlar so will last for ages, they keep your hands warm, and offer excellent protection from the sharp edges of shipwrecks.
