North Sea Divers

Apologies for not updating this blog.
We have now completed ca. 30 North Sea dives and conditions are still pretty good.
Yesterday we dived a small unknown wreck just off Sea Palling. WE reckon it must have been some kind of tanker.
Vis was 6 meters when we weren't messing about and the sea was flat.
Apologies to the PADI's who decided to dive with us and couldn't see a thing when we stirred up the bottom.

Having said the conditions are good........
We now have a huge front coming through bringing with it 10 foot waves. That's put paid to tomorrow's diving. We might steal one on Sunday however!

Hi all, a friend recommended this site as the place to start to find a diver in the moray area who may be able to come and visit a primary school to share your experiences of life underwater...Can anyone help? The most beautiful thank you cards will be given as a reward...LOL

Well we did steal one yesterday. The vis was 2 meters and it was really hairy getting the boat back on the trailer. The winch strap broke twice, the boat got swamped and incurred some minor damage that needs to be repaired.

Well the season is still going strong. Dived on a wreck called the "Sheaf Water" Friday and got 2 meters vis.
Yesterday we dived again and got 4 meters vis, and the sea was almost flat - Marvellous!

Yesterday we dived inshore and again we got great vis. (5 meters). Our Cox said it was a bit cold on the surface however after waiting for us for 86 minutes. Roll on Sunday weather looks do-able.

The weather and vis have now closed the season. So now it's time to mull over what happened during the season, winterise the boat and prepare for next season.
Hope it's as good as this one was!
